McDonald's development in Turkey


This article is about McDonald's's growing progression in another country. I chose this story to open the view of McDonald's strategies from another countries.

Hakan Serlim, managing director of Turkey McDonald's, planned out for McDonald's's opening and adjustment in 2010 as he launched 19 restaurants in Turkey in 2009. This aimed called "Historical Growth". He aimed to grow local market from 20 to 25 percent this year. He aimed to open 30 restaurants this year. He hoped to serve 89 million in branches. He added drive-through and late breakfast in Turkey McDonald's. He employed 5000 people.He opened first branch of restaurant in Iskenderun and then opened restaurants in small cities. In the figure of 2009, sales grew 6.5 percent. He planned to open 14 chains in 2009. The consequence from his plans made 11 percent up in drive-through profit. more than 4.5 percent were implemented during the late hour services. breakfast service accounted for 2.5 percent of total sales

McDonald's's the obesity case was dismissed


This story is a law case but related to McDonald's, a fast food company,which benefits my term paper in term of the knowledge of law decision.

McDonald's excused to the US judge, Donald Pogue, that McDonald's food provided childhood fatness to be gathered in a single group lawsuit. Teenagers, Ashley Pelman and Jazlen Bradly, accused McDonald's deceptively marketing from 1985 to 2002 harming their health and violating New York law. Pogue ,the judge, settled that consumers from similar age didn't suffer from the same medical injuries after the same marketing and eating same foods. unhealthy foods dispute has shifted in eight year since New York lawsuit was filed. McDonald's provided healthy menus on kids such as apple, apple juice and low-fat milk. Heidi Barker, spoke woman for McDonald's, pleased with court decision. McDonald's's foods were maintained throughout the healthy proceeding, It was unfair to blame McDonald's for complicated societal problem. Finally, This case was dismissed.

In conclusion, the teenagers should be allowed to collect evidence to support their claims that McDonald's misled consumers. I learn that single lawsuit cannot make any accused in the court. This article can help my term paper in term of law knowledge. I like to know more about food accusation laws.

Fast food addiction



This article shows several opinion about fast foods are addictive like narcotic drugs or not. This story related to a fast food section I chose this story because It was an interesting data.

Scientists suggested that fast food like hamburger or french fries are as addictive as heroin. Researcher in US found an evidence that people can become obesity caused by the sugar and fat in fast food. According to Dr. John Hoebel's research, the rats that fed by a diet containing 25 percent of sugar are become anxiety when the sugar is removed. The rats' symtoms just like people who withdrawed from nicotine or morphine. He found that high fat food stimulates opioids or pleasure chemical in the brain. According to Ann Kelly, a neuroscientist of the University of Wisconsin Medical School. She found a relationship between the brain's pleasure chemical and d craving for this type of food by stimulating opioid in the rats' brain that caused the rats eat up to six times from their normal intake of fat. It is like extended use of heroin or morphine.

In conclusion, fast foods that contain a lot of sugar and fat can stimulate the addiction like heroin or morphine does. I learn about the chemical substances in fast food. It would help to describe the nutritions of the product in my term paper. I would like to know how to control it.

Canned Sandwiches



This story is about canned sandwiches that related to a fast food section. I choose the story because canned sandwiches are practical and interesting.

If you think about the food that portable, canned sandwiches in one of a good choices. Mark Kirkland dedicated his life for a decade of his canned sandwiches. It used preservable technique similar to soldier ready meals. an aluminum can keep food in fresh for over a full year. Canned sandwiches could be sold in stores or even inside the soda vending machine. It is convenient like drinking water from a bottle of water rather than the water fountain. She said It is as good as standard peanut butter jelly sandwiches not only the taste but also the smell. The technology they uses can prevent the growth of any pathogens or unwanted organisms in the food. Furthermore, the technology can control the amount of oxygen, acidity and water inside the packaging and the sandwich itself.

in conclusion, canned sandwiches is a good idea because people have a several way to have chosen the way to eat. Nevertheless, It is not good to feed a kid with a canned food regularly due to the nutritions fact. I learn that canned foods development is gone over my aspect. It can help my term paper that why fast food products are popular. I would like to know more about the advertising of canned foods.
